About me
I am a software architect / technical lead with broad competences in all aspects of software development. I graduated B.Sc.E.E. from the Engineering College in Aarhus in January 2002. I continued to study while working, and in 2010 I completed my Master of IT in Software Development at Aarhus University.
I have developed embedded software and supporting PC applications for customers in a wide range of domains, e.g. home automation, hospitals, electric power, farming and electronic warfare. I have worked with Cloud systems, both for IoT and as pure cloud architectures.
I have solid experience with C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Linux development, shell programming, various scripting languages, containerization, IoT, architecture for Cloud deployment and I enjoy developing software architectures and working with complex parts of the software. I have experience with systems with restricted resources and have created software architectures for high quality embedded systems.
I advocate the importance of sound software development skills in the entire project group and have taught UML, the C4 Model, design patterns and how to write good unit tests to both co-developers and teams in customer organisations.
I have been technical lead in several large successful projects and have also worked as project manager in some of the projects. As a certified scrum master and experienced software architect, I am able to combine aspects of agile methodologies with more traditional management processes.
Customers say they value my ability to listen and learn their domain and the way I negotiate good compromises in a team and bring the project forward.
